Privacy Policy

Effective: 2026-08-19

This Privacy Policy explains how SKAS Fintech Private Limited ("ChartMath", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use our stock screening, research, broker connection, and trading technology products, websites, mobile apps, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password hashes (if you do not use a third-party login). If you register with a third-party service like Google, we collect the identifiers necessary for authentication.
  • User-Generated Content. Screens you run, strategies you build and backtest, watchlists you create, and alerts you configure.
  • Connected Broker Information. If you connect a supported broker, we collect the broker name, client identifier, connection status, encrypted access credentials, token expiry, assigned static IP address, postback configuration, and account information returned by the broker. Account information may include your profile, available funds, buying power, holdings, positions, orders, trades, and execution status. For access-token connections, ChartMath does not ask for your broker login password.
  • Order and Trading Information. We process the instructions you submit through ChartMath, including the instrument, side, quantity, price, product type, stop loss, target, broker order identifiers, status, fills, rejections, and related timestamps.
  • Analytics and Usage Data. Features you use, actions you take, error logs, and performance data, gathered via our own and third-party analytics tools.
  • Device and Technical Information. Device model, operating system, browser/app version, IP address, language and region settings, and other diagnostic data.
  • Communications. Information when you contact us for support, provide feedback, or respond to surveys.
  • Push Notification Data. If you enable push notifications, we collect and store your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token, device platform, and device identifier.
  • Email and Contact Data. Your email address for account management and to send you transactional and marketing communications, plus delivery status (bounces, complaints).
  • Notification Preferences. We store your notification and email category preferences so we can respect your choices.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To Provide and Maintain the Services. Authenticate you, manage your account, and sync your configurations across devices.
  • To Provide Connected Broker Services. Validate and maintain broker connections, renew access tokens where the broker supports renewal, display account and order information, transmit instructions you initiate, receive broker postbacks, reconcile order status, and help you manage positions.
  • To Improve and Personalize the Services. Understand usage patterns, personalize content, and develop new features.
  • For Security and Fraud Prevention.
  • To Communicate With You. Transactional messages, product updates, new features. Opt out of marketing any time.
  • To Comply with Legal Obligations.

Where applicable law requires consent, we ask for it before the relevant processing. You may withdraw consent, but doing so may prevent us from providing the feature that depends on it.

3. Age Limitation

The Services are not intended for or directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

4. Analytics and Tracking Technologies

We use service providers to operate and understand the Services. These may include PostHog for product analytics and session replay, Sentry for error monitoring, Firebase for authentication and messaging, RevenueCat for subscription management, and Resend for email delivery.

Where session replay is enabled, it may capture interactions, visible screen content, console logs, and network diagnostics. We configure sensitive text inputs to be masked and do not intend to collect broker access tokens through analytics. Please contact us if you believe sensitive information was captured. We do not sell personal information obtained through analytics.

5. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. When you grant notification permission, we collect and store a device token that uniquely identifies your device for push delivery.

Types of push notifications:

  • Alert Triggers. When a stock enters or exits a screen you are tracking.
  • Screen Matches. Updates when new instruments match your screens.
  • Watchlist Updates. Activity related to stocks on your watchlist.
  • Discover Signals. New or noteworthy discoveries.
  • Marketing and Engagement. Occasional messages about new features, tips, or promotions. You can opt out at any time.

6. Email Communications

We send emails to the address associated with your account using Resend as our email delivery provider. Categories: marketing, educational, product updates, research. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it:

  • With a broker you choose to connect, to validate the connection, retrieve account data, and transmit instructions you initiate. The broker processes that information under its own privacy policy and customer agreement.
  • With service providers that support hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, messaging, subscriptions, email, and customer support. They may process information only to provide services to us or as permitted by their agreements and applicable law.
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, ChartMath, or others.
  • In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and why we process it.

  • Broker access credentials are retained while the connection is active. When you disconnect a broker, ChartMath stops renewing and using the stored credential. A token may remain valid at the broker until it expires or is rotated there.
  • Time-limited desktop setup links for supported broker connections expire within 24 hours and stop working after a successful connection.
  • Order, trade, security, and operational records may be retained for dispute resolution, fraud prevention, audit, and legal compliance after a broker is disconnected.
  • Backups and logs are deleted or overwritten according to our retention schedules unless a longer period is legally required.

You can request account deletion through the app settings or by emailing ankush@chartmath.comwith the subject line "Account Deletion." We will delete or de-identify personal information unless we need to retain it for the reasons described above. To stop broker access before the deletion request is processed, disconnect the broker in ChartMath and rotate or revoke the token through the broker.

9. International Data Transfers

ChartMath is headquartered in India and serves users in India and other countries. We and our service providers may process or store information in India, the United States, and other countries where they operate. These countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have the right to request information about our processing, access a summary of your personal data, correct inaccurate or incomplete data, request erasure, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing a request.

Indian users may exercise rights available under applicable Indian data protection law. Residents of U.S. states with applicable privacy laws may also have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sales or sharing. ChartMath does not sell personal information. Submit a request to ankush@chartmath.com. You may also use the grievance process below if you are not satisfied with our response.

11. Security

We use safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, password hashing where applicable, and encryption for stored broker credentials. No security measure is perfect. If we identify a personal data breach, we will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be highlighted through the Services or by email.

13. Contact Us
