ChartMath scans the market in real
time and alerts you when stocks
match proven technical setups. We run 200+ curated screens (ORB, VWAP, RVOL, breakouts, and more) with
backtest data so you can trade with conviction. Three ways to discover: swipe what's hot, pick your
strategy, or track your stocks.
Is ChartMath financial advice?
No. ChartMath is an educational tool
only. We explain why a setup
met specific technical criteria and when alerts fired. We don't provide buy/sell recommendations or
personalized investment advice. All signals are for educational purposes — you make your own trading
decisions.
How is ChartMath different from
TradingView or Finviz?
ChartMath is designed as a mobile companion, not a replacement. Key differences:
• Mobile-first swipe interface — decide in seconds, not minutes
• No coding required — 200+ screens ready to use (no Pine Script)
• Three ways to discover — swipe what's hot, pick your strategy, or track your stocks
• Backtest data — see historical win rates for conviction
What trading strategies does
ChartMath support?
ChartMath includes 200+ curated screens covering popular day trading and swing trading setups:
• Opening Range Breakout (ORB) — 5m, 15m, 30m variants
ChartMath screens run across multiple timeframes to suit different trading styles:
• Intraday: 1-minute, 5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour
• Swing: Daily, Weekly, Monthly
Day traders typically use 1m-15m screens; swing traders use Daily and Weekly.
Which markets and symbols are
covered?
ChartMath currently covers US
equities. Beta focuses on the top
100-500 most liquid symbols (think AAPL, TSLA, NVDA, SPY, QQQ, etc.). We're expanding coverage as data
infrastructure scales.
Is the data real-time?
Yes, our screens are evaluated
continuously throughout the trading
day. When a stock matches your criteria, you're notified immediately. Exact data latency depends on market
data vendor constraints and is disclosed in-app.
Is ChartMath available on iOS and
Android?
ChartMath is currently available on
Android via
Google Play. iOS is coming soon — join the beta waitlist to be notified when it launches.
The app is built mobile-first with a swipe-based interface optimized for on-the-go trading decisions.
What backtest data do you provide?
Every screen shows historical
performance data — win rate, average
gain/loss, expected value per trade, and drawdowns. This helps you build conviction before acting on a
signal. All backtest data is for educational purposes only and past performance doesn't guarantee future
results.
How much does ChartMath cost?
ChartMath is free during
beta. We're focused on
building something traders actually want before introducing paid tiers. When we do launch pricing, it will
be positioned around $25-30/month for Pro features — but only if those features earn their keep based on
user feedback.
Do I need a subscription?
Not during beta. All core features —
real-time alerts, 200+
screens, backtest data, and the swipe interface — are free while we're in beta. No credit card required to
sign up.
What's included in the free beta?
Everything. Unlimited screen access,
alerts, and backtests. No credit card required. We'll announce pricing before beta ends — and we'll give you
plenty of notice before any changes.
How real-time is "real-time"?
Screens update within seconds of market
data. Alerts fire as soon as a stock matches your criteria during market hours. Exact latency depends on market
data vendor constraints and is disclosed in-app.
Can I customize screens?
Not yet. We're starting with 200+ curated
screens that we've backtested across multiple market conditions. Custom screen builder is on our roadmap — tell
us what you'd want to build and we'll prioritize accordingly.
Do I need to know Pine Script or
coding?
No coding required. ChartMath
screens are pre-built and curated by
traders. Just browse screens that match your strategy, enable alerts, and start receiving notifications.
Every screen includes a plain-English explanation of the logic.
