Volume above the 20-bar average ensures the trend has participation rather than being low-conviction drift. The three conditions together create an intraday trend-quality filter: a stock can satisfy all three without being at a breakout level, making the screen useful for stocks in a controlled intraday uptrend, not just momentum spikes.
